AjnaView is a telematics and industrial IoT platform operated by Vignan Corp (“AjnaView”, “we”, “us”, “our”). We provide fleet management software, GPS tracking, vehicle diagnostics, driver safety analytics, and related services to fleet operators and their resellers.
Vignan Corp. (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the https://ajnaview.co.uk/ website, the AjnaView telematics platform, and the AjnaView and Ajna Lite mobile applications (the “Service”).

What Data We Collect
2.1Account and contact data
- Full name, job title, company name
- Email address and phone number
- Billing address and payment method (processed by our payment provider — we do not store card details)
- Login credentials (passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text)
2.2Fleet and vehicle data
- Vehicle registration numbers, VINs, make and model
- GPS coordinates and movement history
- Speed, heading, engine hours, fuel consumption, CAN bus telemetry
- Geofence events, trip history, idle time
- Maintenance records and service schedules
2.3Driver data
- Driver name and employee ID (if provided by your fleet operator)
- Driver safety scores, harsh event counts, coaching notes
- Tachograph or hours-of-service data (where applicable)
- Dashcam footage and AI-detected incident clips
Dashcam footage may incidentally capture drivers, passengers, pedestrians, vehicle registrations, and public road activity.

- Contract performance — processing necessary to provide the telematics service you have contracted for
- Legitimate interests — improving the platform, fraud prevention, security monitoring, and direct marketing to existing customers
- Legal obligation — compliance with UK law including HMRC requirements, DVSA regulations, and law enforcement requests
- Consent — where we ask for it explicitly (e.g., marketing emails to non-customers, optional dashcam footage sharing)
We use Microsoft Clarity to capture how you use our site so we can improve it. Form fields containing personal data are masked.
We will notify affected customers without undue delay after becoming aware of a personal data breach where required by applicable law.
4.2United States — Federal and State Law
Applies to users and fleet operators in the United States
We process personal data based on:
- Contractual necessity — to provide the services described in our agreement with you
- Legitimate business interests — platform improvement, security, and communications
- Consent — for marketing communications and optional data sharing
We comply with applicable US federal privacy laws including, where relevant, the Electronic Communications Privacy Act (ECPA) and sector-specific regulations applicable to fleet operators (FMCSA, DOT).
4.3California — CCPA / CPRA
Applies to California residents
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the following rights:
- Right to know — what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell
- Right to delete — request deletion of your personal information, subject to exceptions
- Right to correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Right to opt out — of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell personal data)
- Right to limit use — of sensitive personal information
- Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights
We do not sell personal information to third parties. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

4.4India — DPDP Act 2023
Applies to data principals (individuals) in India
We process personal data in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act). Under this Act:

- We provide notice of what data we collect and how it is used before or at the time of collection
- Data principals (individuals whose data we process) have the right to access, correct, and erase their personal data
- Data principals may nominate another person to exercise rights on their behalf

Data Retention

9.2How to exercise your rights

Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed at individuals under the age of 18 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.
India: We will not process personal data of children without verifiable parental consent, in compliance with the DPDP Act 2023.
USA: We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
International Data Transfers
Our infrastructure is hosted in the US, India, and the European Union. Data is processed and stored in EU data centres certified to ISO 27001 standards.
UK users: Data transferred to the EU relies on UK adequacy regulations. No additional safeguards required for EU transfers.
US users: Data may be processed in the EU. We rely on standard contractual clauses (SCCs) where applicable.
India users: Data may be processed outside India in countries approved by the Government of India. Pending final notification of permitted countries, we apply equivalent data protection standards contractually with all processors.
We offer dedicated data residency options so your fleet data is stored and processed within your required jurisdiction. Customers may request our Data Processing Agreement (DPA) which incorporates UK GDPR and Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
Supporting services and administrative operations may be hosted in the US, UK, India, or EU.
Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify, update, or replace this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our practices, services, legal requirements, or industry standards.
The current version of this Privacy Policy is always available at ajnaview.vignancorp.com/legal/privacy-policy. We recommend reviewing this page periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your data.
When we make changes, we will:
- Update the Effective date at the top of this document
- Increment the Version number
- For material changes affecting how we collect, use, or share your personal data, notify customers via email or in-platform notice where reasonably practicable
Your continued use of the AjnaView platform, website, or any related services after the effective date of the updated policy constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree with the updated policy, you should discontinue use of the Service and contact us to exercise your rights under Section 9.
