• Legal obligation — compliance with UK law including HMRC requirements, DVSA regulations, and law enforcement requests
• Consent — where we ask for it explicitly (e.g., marketing emails to non-customers, optional dashcam footage sharing)

We use Microsoft Clarity to capture how you use our site so we can improve it. Form fields containing personal data are masked.

We will notify affected customers without undue delay after becoming aware of a personal data breach where required by applicable law.

Applies to users and fleet operators in the United States

We process personal data based on:

• Contractual necessity — to provide the services described in our agreement with you
• Legitimate business interests — platform improvement, security, and communications
• Consent — for marketing communications and optional data sharing

We comply with applicable US federal privacy laws including, where relevant, the Electronic Communications Privacy Act (ECPA) and sector-specific regulations applicable to fleet operators (FMCSA, DOT).

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the following rights:

• Right to know — what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell
• Right to delete — request deletion of your personal information, subject to exceptions
• Right to correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information
• Right to opt out — of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell personal data)
• Right to limit use — of sensitive personal information
• Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights

We do not sell personal information to third parties. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

We process personal data in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act). Under this Act:

• Data principals (individuals whose data we process) have the right to access, correct, and erase their personal data
• Data principals may nominate another person to exercise rights on their behalf
• We will not process children's personal data without verifiable parental consent

• Payment processors (PCI-DSS compliant — we do not store card data)

All processors are bound by data processing agreements and may not use your data for their own purposes.

If you use AjnaView through a reseller or white-label partner, that partner may access your account data and fleet data as part of their service agreement with you. The reseller is an independent data controller for any data they process. Review their privacy policy separately.

Fleet operators (your employer or fleet manager) may access driver data including GPS history, safety scores, and dashcam footage within the scope of their fleet management duties.

For telematics and fleet management services, AjnaView generally acts as a Data Processor on behalf of the Fleet Operator who acts as the Data Controller. The Fleet Operator determines the purposes and means of processing driver and vehicle data.

Fleet operators are responsible for ensuring that drivers and vehicle users are informed about GPS tracking, driver monitoring, dashcam recording, and related data processing activities.

• Compliance with court orders, subpoenas, or legal process
• Disclosure to law enforcement or regulatory bodies where required by law
• Protection of the rights, property, or safety of AjnaView, our users, or the public

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, personal data may be transferred to the acquiring entity, subject to equivalent privacy protections.

• Deletion — request erasure of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
